My view and story on spirituality
Hello Dear Reader,
In this post I would like to give an introduction to my story of spiritual seeking and religions.
You know or, if not, you will know that I like to examine things from every aspect and angle, because everything’s related to each other… If I jump around it’s because I have too much thoughts, sorry about it. :D Although, I try to be as clear as possible. I might add plus to my posts as more and more are coming to my mind, so if you like my content, stay tuned, come back, enjoy, discuss. J I surely like you here.
Even if you have a more down-to earth, material thinking personality, don’t be scared of that sometimes I approach our lives from a spiritual angle. My advice for you is: question everything but don’t attack anything, think critically.
I do question everything all the time, and I have an addiction to find the ultimate truth. When can we know that?
First of all, I would like to address that I give myself the permission to change my opinion. As I mentioned I try to look at every side of the stories, all aspects, all angles, search for more information, collecting more experiences and more knowledge.
I am not afraid to change my perception, as we have more and more experiences and more research on a topic. Also, trying not to be judgmental. We are humans, tho, we all make mistakes, sometimes we are wrong, we think faulty, we do stupid things. We are constantly learning. Can we be sure about everything anytime soon?
Some people claim to know everything better than others and even to be sure about everything. Now, I think those are the people who know the least. A lot of times these are the people who act in an arrogant way towards others, with no patience, no understanding, no compassion, no empathy, nothing. Are they really better? No-one is better than the other, no-one is more special than another person. We are all humans who are experiencing and learning for a life – or lives…
I think it is important to question (and it is the most important question) who and what we really are. I know a lot of you are already over this question, but some may not think about it, and more focused on the physical World. At some point all of us will wake up and realise: it’s not it. There has to be something more. We have to be something more. How have we been created? There has to be a God or a higher power that created us, we didn’t just start to BE without any reason. Some things are truly difficult to understand with our limited minds that think in boxes. If we cannot sense something with our 6 senses then we can’t believe and understand it easily, can we? We then don’t know how to perceive that thing. We think from the place what we already know and have experienced, from our current perception. But we can always change our perception.
But who we really are? Have you ever asked yourself: Who am I? What is the purpose of my life? Why are we here on this Earth? Where are we from? How has everything been created?
What do you think? Or it’s better to ask: how do you feel about it?
Who we really are
We are powerful light energy. We’ve been created to the image of God.
What does it really mean? Not our looks, but our spirit.
When I started studying the Bible, I had some doubt and questions which I know those are in many people’s mind.
I have been always searching God but some religion didn’t resonate with me.
I was raised as a Christian but didn’t like the hypocrisy in the church, and after I moved from my family I no longer went to Church. A bit later I turned to spirituality searching for answers.
I have had years of depression and failing relationships, so I was searching more. 3 years ago I met the twin flame concept - which I will talk about in details in other posts -, and started to search answers and God even more, my colleague invited me to church in London. I had been planning to go to a spiritualist church before and I had started to read the Bible and asked God to talk to me, to tell me what the truth is, therefore I saw it as a sign that my colleague invited me to this church. I found it more modern and just a much happier place that I had experienced before in the church back home. There I wanted to just run away or stop existing during the ceremony. Here in London I felt more joy, happiness, healing energies and more acceptance. But still I felt that this whole religion doesn’t really resonate with me, and a lot of things don’t make sense. There were a lot of controversies in my eyes, and I lost my faith in a loving God. I turned away and found myself watching ‘disapproving Christianity’ and ‘Why I left Christianity’ videos on YouTube, and all I did was just nagging, but yet I was confused about the truth. I wanted and hoped God to be true and real, but not in the Christian way that seemed evil and not logic in many ways. Then I found pastors with credentials and sense whose knowledge and opinion and experiences made sense to me and resonated to me. But I still had a lot of questions. I still had been asking God to talk to me, I wanted proof because I didn’t trust people anymore. I felt that God left me, he abandoned me. I had an accident, I was suicidal, broke up with my boyfriend… I had everything that had gone wrong whatever you can imagine, and I was angry, then I fell in apathy. Then I found the book: Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch. Which I honestly think everyone should read. If you haven’t read my post about the book, please feel free to read it here: https://harmonymaker888.com/blogs/spiritual/k
No wonder it’s an amazing book, and even if it doesn’t answer ALL your questions, it will surely make you think about stuff. :)
